3 Generations of HOTNESS

Picture by my talented photog brother, Aaron
Left to right: Laura, Christi, Great G-ma Jackie, G-ma Vicki, Kathy, Mom Kimba

While going back looking at pictures on my brother's flickr site I came across this one from this Summer's family photo shoot while my Great G-ma Jackie was in town from Pennsylvania.

These ladies are H.O.T. don't cha think?! This was a rare opportunity being that Jackie hasn't been to Utah in over 30 years, Kathy lives in Texas, and Christi lives in Cali so I'm so happy that Aaron captured this on digital film!

I love all of these ladies so much!

Side Note: Jackie deserves a post of her own being one of the funniest spitfire ladies I know. For example here are a few things Jackie has been known to say in total honesty

"It's not how you feel, it's how you look sweetheart!"
"Someone had to teach them how to dance so of course I stepped in showed them a thing or two."
"It's all about the hair!" ;)

Goodbye Cheerios: You Give Me GAS

Remember how I talked about the convenience of Cheerios only days ago? That was also I realized the silent, unscented, gas I was having was due to my increased heart health and fiber intake from the little O's. Due to this and the constant pressure in my belly I decided to take a break.

Today we reunited and man oh man those innocent looking golden O's are tearing me up inside worse than before! To save Pop's nose and to save my tummy from the goblins that seem to be playing rugby in there I'm taking an indefinite break. You served me well for a while, but

GOODBYE CHEERIOS: YOU GIVE ME GAS!

Heart Healthy Cheerios

I'm not usually one that is able to eat the same thing for much longer than a week, but I sure have been on a Cheerio kick lately. I have been eating a bowl of Cheerios for breakfast everyday for about the last 2 months now. It's not even that I think they are the best cereal in the world. I think it's possible that I simply like the simplicity of them. With Cheerios I can make breakfast in about 20 seconds, carry the bowl around with me while I get ready for the next 15 minutes taking bites here and there, feel satisfied not stuffed and be on my merry way.

So Cheerios, here's to you making my heart healthy!
