Bloggin Rut

I have sadly been in a blogging rut. I don't know exactly why. Maybe it's the lack of creativity I've been feeling lately in my life. No, I don't pity myself because we all know I have plenty of time for extras almost everyday, but I am feeling a little... well, just blah.

I love work. Most know how much I enjoy my job, but it's still work. I have the time of my life each and every moment I spend with K, but those moments are limited... maybe I just need to cherish what I do have and stop searching of extras??? Well if anyone has any ideas please let me know. In the meantime I'm on quest for creativity and a blogging breakthrough!

Ciao for now :)

my 2 cents (given Utah's current economy it's currently valued at .003 cents...)

-- Body does, mind follows. Kind of the force yourself to smile school of thought. I find the best way to force something out is to copy someone. Surf till you find a topic (even something you might not normally be interested in) and write about it. Even just respond to the points in whatever you are reading, but don't over think it, just do it.

-- Honesty. Sometimes what's on your mind isn't what you necessarily want to blog. Either not entertaining enough, to personal, sad, whatever. Sometimes these make the best blog posts. Not everything you write has to be entertaining. Sometimes you can just tell us why the consistency of Jello makes you think of eating Anne Heches' eyeballs, or whatever personal tidbit you care to share.

-- Recurring thoughts. If something is on your mind and keeps occupying grey matter time, put it down here. I think the best and most telling subjects are the stuff that people think about obsessively. Again, doesn't have to fit a tone or such. Can be angry, happy, sad, annoying, nervous, drug induced...

-- Regurgitate. Find something you did previously and give it some new life. Old photos, drawings, stories, concerts you attended, events you volunteered at, jello dances you wish you had attended, places you visited. I was off an interested in my life when you just started yours and probably missed a good chunk. Throw it up here. (like how I tied that together ;)

-- Put a value on it. Why do you care if someone has something to read when they come here? Maybe a once a month post is plenty, maybe a weekly theme, maybe you poop thoughts like a pigeon. A blog has to be of value to you before anyone else will care. (I care by the way. Please poop like a pigeon ;)
